The series of works below explores the themes of life and death, as well as the complex emotions of grief that accompany loss. Through the layering and juxtaposition of the subjects and colors within, I seek to convey the intricate and often overwhelming experience of mortality and fragility of life. Each piece is a visual representation of the ways in which we deal with life and acceptance that comes with the passing of loved ones. By confronting these challenging emotions and exploring the interconnectedness of life and death, this series aims to offer a space for reflection, healing and a sense of connection in the face of loss. By embracing the concept of impermanence, I seek to encourage viewers to confront their own mortality and find solace in the acceptance of loss as an inherent part of the human experience.
